Carol Winter – Operations Manager
Hello, Carol here…I have been working in travel management for 23 years and, more specifically, in entertainment and music travel for 15 years. I have been at Media Travel for over three years. Prior to this I was working in the travel department for a major record label.
My job cannot be easily defined as I never know what to expect day to day. My main role is to provide a full travel management service to our clients but we can also be found catering for our artiste’s every whim! I organise tour travel for bands and artists. This involves booking flights and hotels for the whole tour party, plus any - and every - request in between. No one tour is the same - they have ranged from heavy metal bands to more sedate classical orchestras. That’s not to say that they don’t all have their own very specific requests!
My greatest loves (aside from Mr Jack Daniel’s finest) are music, gigs, Formula 1 Grand Prix and travel. A combination of them all works best!

Kellie Rayner – Senior Travel Specialist
Hi, I’m Kellie. I have been working in travel management for over 16 years and nearly 10 of those have been with Media Travel. I began my career working for a well known ‘party’ tour operator. Unfortunately, I now no longer fall into their age category! I worked for an airline operator and then in corporate business travel for a few years but I realised that it wasn’t for me. I now have my dream job which combines my 2 loves: travel and music!
My job is to look after our fantastic clients. This involves logistical travel management, booking hotels and flights and anything else they throw at me. Tour travel is a big part of my role which I love.
Holidays are what I live for; spending time in the sun by the pool with a good book and a cold beer. Although, I can count those days on one hand since having my son, Ollie! Gigs are another passion which I try and fit into my busy schedule. There is not much of life that I dislike apart from unnecessarily miserable people...and carrots!

Gill Joseph – Senior Travel Specialist
Hiya, I’m Gill. I have been working in travel management for 11 years and I have been at Media Travel for two and a half. Prior to this I was in the events industry.
My primary role is to look after our clients. This mainly involves tour travel but I also look after individual clients. No two days are the same which is what I love about the job; one minute you need to find a hotel with tour bus parking and the next you need to book space on an aircraft for a client’s beloved pet. It keeps it interesting!
My greatest love is travel. Nothing can beat the feeling of going to somewhere new and exotic. When I can’t travel I spend time with my friends enjoying a laugh together. My greatest dislike is coconut...and turnips. Yuck.

Bekah Walsh – Senior Travel Specialist
Hi I’m Bekah and I have been at Media Travel since February 2009. Prior to this I was working for a corporate business travel company in New Zealand before transferring to its London office.
I love that no two days are the same at Media Travel and I tend to do a bit of everything whether that’s event travel management, tour travel, corporate travel services or a flight to the most remote, far flung place on the globe that nobody has ever heard of. I love a good challenge and it keeps me interested and entertained.
My biggest love is travel! I like nothing more than grabbing my passport and heading off to new and exciting places around the world, relaxing in the sun and listening to some good tunes with a G&T in hand. I have a long list of places I want to see and love ticking them off one by one. I am famous in the office for my ‘Kiwi Pie’ - it is pretty darn good even if I do say so myself! Dislikes would have to be inconsiderate people and long-haul flights in economy class.

Dominique Olshina - Travel Specialist
Hello Dominique here! I’ve been working in travel management for about a year and a half and have been with Media Travel since May 2010. Prior to travel management I worked for hotels in Melbourne and Los Angeles. I’m also the office Aussie!
Since I have been at Media Travel I have made all sorts of bookings, from hotels to flights to tours - you never know what the next task will be! I love dealing with different people. The jobs and clients are so varied - there’s never a dull moment here!
Like the rest of the team I have a great love for travelling!! It’s always great to go somewhere new and get to see new cultures and sites. I also love to read and play netball. Dislikes would be rude people and artichokes…eeeewwwww!!

Fiona Rees - Motorsports Travel Specialist
Hi I’m Fiona – the petrol head motorsports specialist of the office! I have grown up in the sport & spent many a weekend on a field corner in the 80’s watching my father’s MG Metro go by! I followed in his footsteps and have been working in the WRC and WTCC championships, with my biggest role coordinating a WTCC team around the world
I started at Media Travel in December 2010 bringing a new side to the business specialising in motorsport travel for the many teams out there competing either locally or around the world. I have enjoyed getting involved in the many championships there are and getting to know all the different teams and seeing how each differs in how they work. I have always loved a challenge and planning how to get people from A to B seamlessly.
As for those things in life I love – packing my backpack, heading off to a beachside hut and watching the sunset with a cocktail! Second to that a good festival - I have fallen in love with Glastonbury! The two things in life that freak me out are snakes and spiders, I can’t even go into the reptiles room at the Zoo! Think dramatics and hyperventilating and you’re somewhere near!!

Isy Carvalho – Senior Travel Specialist
Hi, Isy Miyake here!
I started at Media Travel June 2011 and have worked in travel for over 10 years. I started in the corporate world of the oil & gas industry but made the move to the exciting entertainment world in 2008, working for a record label. What I like about entertainment travel is that no working day is ever dull, there’s always a buzzing vibe in the air! It’s like an addiction - once you start in entertainment you never want to leave! Every new tour brings an exciting new buzz to my day, and what I love the most is nurturing it from start to finish. Like the rest of the team I love to travel!! It’s always great to plan something new, experience a new adventure and come back with heaps of funny stories of something silly I’ve said or done along the way. My claim to office fame has to be my Isy-isms along the way.

Mathilde Le Bolay – Junior Travel Specialist
Hi, I'm Mathilde, the Frenchie of the team, I come from lovely Brittany
(which is so much cooler than Normandy!). After living and traveling in
Australia for a couple of years (and working for a French airline), I made my way back to Europe and started working for Media Travel in June 2011. I joined the team as a temporary admin assistant, and loved it so much that I decided to stay. I am now learning the ropes as a Junior Travel Specialist.
I love traveling and can't wait to explore the next continent on my list: South America.
I hate sprouts and spiders (scared of both! there is no such a thing as a small spider!)
