Miller Miami 2010
Miller Miami 2010 kicked off with a bang in March. The three day party extravaganza was the climax of two and a half years of rigorous planning and a year-long global competition by Miller Genuine Draft, focusing on up & coming territories such as South America and Russia. The event provided a platform for some of the best emerging electronic artists and DJs to showcase their talents to an audience of competition winners, brand managers and press.
Media Travel arranged accommodation in the trendy Catalina Hotel, South Beach as well as organising flights and transport. Media Travel MD Fran Green jetted off to Florida for the event to manage the travel and accommodation ‘on the ground’ as well as helping with anything and everything. Being the only one who knew the details of every guest meant Fran was ‘drafted’ in to help run the production office and oversee the organisational challenges that tend to come with three days of non-stop partying.
The jam-packed schedule consisted of six parties over three days including the Tikki Beach Boat Cruise and the Miller House Party. Held during the Winter Music Conference (WMC), Miller Miami 2010 also allowed guests the added bonus of attending certain WMC seminars and parties.
Miller Miami 2010 was managed by Splendid Events with the help of event production company DesignScene which developed and set up the parties. The main gathering was the Miller House Party on the final night. The warehouse venue was set up as a beach-house with a cinema, vintage Cadillac and a DJ booth beach-tower overlooking the pool.
Fran was delighted to see the event go off without a hitch. She loved getting involved and seeing everyone work together to make Miller Miami 2010 a true success.
